CBORD Upgrades to New Training Facility and Further Boosts Client Education

Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc. today announced that it is moving its Farmington, NY training facility to a new location, in Duluth, GA, near Atlanta. This move will make CBORD's full range of product and technical courses easily accessible for over 6,000 CBORD clients. Additionally, the new facility will provide a blended learning approach supporting both state-of-the-art classroom teaching and enhanced online learning capabilities.

The new training facility will share the education and training center with CBORD's sister company, Horizon Software International, LLC. Horizon Software International, a Roper company, is a leading provider of software and services to the K-12, healthcare, and military marketplace sectors.

CBORD's upgrade and investment in this new training facility stems from client-driven feedback. CBORD users are vocal about the excellence of their training experiences with CBORD, but it has sometimes been a challenge to get to the Upstate NY client education center. This new location provides exactly what CBORD users have asked for: Duluth is only 27 miles from Atlanta, which hosts Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which serves more than 25 airlines.

CBORD's new training facility will provide education on CBORD's campus and cashless card systems, food and nutrition service management software, integrated security solutions, housing and judicial process management software, and more. The new facility's training schedule will become effective in October 2009.
